Job Description:

Job Summary:  Under the direction of the Cash Management Team Leader, performs all required functions in accordance with regulatory compliance guidelines with Deposit Operations and special focus on Cash Management.





  • Follow and assist with implementation of all directives, policies, procedures and changes in regulations pertaining to Cash Management with a focus in the ACH Rules

  • Performs daily designated functions of Cash Management services including Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), Business Online Banking and ACH such as:

    • Process online banking applications and cash management maintenance requests

    • Assist with customer site visits, customer set-up, updating manuals and training for RDC and ACH

    • Assist with yearly audit for RDC and ACH limits and assist with updating of procedures, policies, FDICIA guidelines and risk assessments

    • Perform check imaging, review and reconcile general ledger account entries as applicable with the cash management system, accepting and sending ACH batch files, balance all files and correct exceptions

    • Process daily wire requests by deadline

  • Assist branches, Business Development and related departments  and customer support as deemed necessary in all areas of cash management and third party processes such as:

  • ACH set ups with the Loan Department

  • password resets for all cash management services

  • RDC, ACH and Business Online Support

  • RSA token activation, lost tokens and customer contact regarding tokens

  • Balance and reconcile all business “test accounts” on a monthly basis.

  • Assist with set up of customers deposit account into account analysis, update counters and review account analysis statements monthly

  • Manage multiple priorities with reporting and customer information systems on a daily basis

  • Pursue development of supervisory tasks and skills

  • Assist in other annual projects, system upgrades and system change notification related to cash management and help facilitate duties including customer correspondences, tracking, updating customer information systems, manuals and performing other functions to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines 

  • Serve on different committees, project teams and user groups and be a contributing member

  • Cross train to provide backup to Deposit Operations and Electronic Banking personnel as necessary to expedite workflow

  • Respond to and assist with various methods of customer contact and inquiries

  • Perform monthly monitoring and verification of selected reports

  • Perform all monthly IOLTA Reporting and Interest remittance

  • Perform all monthly reporting and reconciliation on municipal accounts

  • Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or equivalent experience

  • Three plus years’ of banking experience in Cash Management highly preferred

  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations and guidelines pertaining to Deposit Operations

  • NACHA Operating Rules preferred
