Job Description:

Job Summary:   A Senior Commercial Middle Market Servicer is a subject matter expert and has extensive knowledge of complex C&I loans, Swap Loans and Participation loan processing as well as having developed a high level of accuracy in loan document review.  The Servicer will be proficient in complex interest calculations, processing loan modifications, 3rd party billing and investor loan payments processing.  The Sr. Servicer will be a mentor and trainer to servicing levels 1 & 2 and be responsible for monitoring their progress as well as a backup for the commercial post-close analyst.






  • Point person and Subject Matter Expert as well as accountable for the processing of:
  • Loan Modifications (complex)
  • Loan Conversions
  • New loan onboarding to include Investor, Swap, and Participation loans
  • Extensive knowledge of complex C&I loans
  • Loan documentation review
  • Tracking of participation loan remittance and payment processing
  • Complex interest calculations
  • Process management and decision making
  • Accountability for project management
  • Accountable for various procedural updates
  • Trainer/Mentor
  • Excel proficiency
  • Update procedures
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries in a courteous, accurate and expeditious manner
  • Support for the related processes for disbursing, and insuring the integrity of the escrow disbursement and collection process
  • Receive instructional notification/inquiries from internal and external customers for account maintenance
  • Manage the integrity of various spread sheet reports
  • Manage the servicing of participation payments and monthly reconciliation for participation/swap loans
  • Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned
  • Perform necessary maintenance including loan modifications and conversions
  • Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned



Experience and Skills:


  • Knowledgeable in multiple servicing processes
  • Knowledgeable in compliance and procedures
  • Knowledgeable in the use of Excel 
  • Ability to communicate with customers, attorneys and staff in a clear and professional manner
  • Ability to embrace and adapt to departmental and global changes
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • High School Diploma or an associate college degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 plus years of working in a loan servicing post-close environment
